What are Parents Saying?

Check out Sarah's Science on CBS/KPIX!

"Anna really loves science and she developed that love as a direct result of Sarah's Science camp. She's been fascinated ever since her very first summer at camp when she had a chance to dissect owl pellets and find out what they eat. Science is the subject she enjoys the most at school, which has given her the confidence to think of herself as a smart student who understands what's going on in class. You have such a knack for helping kids discover what's fascinating and extremely cool about science in its many different forms. Thanks for opening this door for Anna, and for taking an interest."

Special Programs:

Counselor in Training (CIT) Program (For Campers Ages 11–15)
Our CIT Program is for older campers who are interested in taking on more responsibility and developing leadership skills. CITs are teamed up with an experienced counselor to assist a group of younger campers; they also participate in the usual camp projects and activities. An optional First Aid Certification is provided prior to the start of the summer and additional leadership training is provided weekly throughout the summer. The CIT Program is available for single or multiple weeks and has the same fees and discounts as the regular camp program.

Advanced Projects (For Campers Ages 9–12)
For our 9–12 year olds we offer an additional challenging project during the week.

Our Berkeley site is located in Tilden Park at the Buckeye and Orchard Picnic Areas, lovely wooded sites below the Carousel. We are surrounded by great paths and streams, and we hike to Lake Anza to swim once a week. Free parking is available for drop-off and pick-up.
