From 580 East:
Take the Fruitvale Avenue Exit. Proceed straight through
the light to Champion Street (stop sign). Turn
Left on Champion Street. Champion becomes Lincoln Avenue.
Continue up the hill. Lincoln Avenue becomes Joaquin
Miller Road. Turn Left on Skyline Blvd. Continue 1 mile
and turn Right at the sign for Roberts Regional Park.
From 580 West:
Take the Coolidge/Fruitvale Avenue Exit. Proceed straight
ahead off the exit (you are on Montana) to Champion Street.
Turn Right on Champion Street. Champion becomes Lincoln
Avenue. Continue up the hill. Lincoln Avenue becomes
Joaquin Miller Road. Turn Left on Skyline Blvd. Continue
1 mile and turn Right at the sign for Roberts Regional
Park.
From 13 South:
Take the Joaquin Miller Road/Lincoln Avenue Exit. Turn
Left at the first stop sign at the end of the Exit. Turn
left on Lincoln Avenue. Lincoln Avenue becomes Joaquin
Miller Road. Turn Left on Skyline Blvd. Continue 1 mile
and turn Right at the sign for Roberts Regional Park.
From 13 North:
Take the Joaquin Miller Road/Lincoln Avenue Exit. Turn
Right toward Joaquin Miller Road. Turn Left on Skyline
Blvd. Continue 1 mile and turn Right at the sign for
Roberts Regional Park.

From Marin Circle:
Heading up Marin Avenue, turn Left on Spruce. At
the intersection of Wildcat Canyon Road and Grizzly Peak
Blvd., continue straight. Spruce becomes Wildcat Canyon
Road. Continue on Wildcat Canyon Road and turn Left on
Central Park Drive. After the sign for Buckeye,
turn Right on Lake Anza Road. Turn Left on Brook
Road and continue down to the parking area on the Left.
From Claremont Ave. and Ashby:
Proceed up Claremont Avenue and turn Left on Grizzly
Peak Blvd. Turn Right on South Park Drive, following
the signs to the Merry-Go-Round. Continue on South Park
Drive until it splits. Turn Left on Wildcat Canyon Road,
following the signs to Lake Anza and the Merry-Go-Round.
Turn Right on Central Park Drive. After the sign for
Buckeye, turn Right on Lake Anza Road. Turn Left on Brook
Road and continue down to the parking area on the Left.
From Hearst and Martin Luther King:
Proceed up Hearst towards the University. Turn Right
on Gayley. Just past the Greek Theater, turn Left on
Rim Road, following the signs to the Lawrence Hall of
Science and the Botanical Gardens. At the first
stop sign, turn Left on Centennial Drive towards Whittier
field. Pass the U.C. Botanical Garden and follow the
signs towards Lawrence Hall of Science. Pass the Lawrence
Hall of Science. At the intersection of Grizzly Peak
Blvd. and Centennial Drive, continue straight. Centennial
Drive becomes Golf Course Drive. Follow Golf Course Drive
to Shasta Road. Turn Right on Shasta Road, following
the signs to Tilden. Turn Left on Wildcat Canyon Road.
Turn Right on Central Park Drive towards Lake Anza. After
the sign for Buckeye, turn Right on Lake Anza Road. Turn
Left on Brook Road and continue down to the parking area
on the Left.
Lake Merritt United Methodist Church (back entrance)

Although the front of this church is on Lakeshore Ave. across the street from Lake Merritt, these directions will take you to the back entrance where there is a parking lot. Please note: there is ongoing construction in the area. You may want to allow a few extra minutes for your commute.
From 580 East:
Take the Grand Avenue exit and go to the second light, which is Lakeshore Avenue. Turn right and follow around the shore of Lake Merritt approximately 1 mile. Continue straight at E. 16th (do not turn right onto Lakeshore Avenue). Just past the light at the light at E. 14th/International Blvd., you will see an entrance to the parking lot on your right.
From 580 West:
Exit at Lakeshore Avenue and turn left onto Lakeshore. Then follow the directions as described above.
From Downtown Oakland:
Take 10th Street toward Lake Merritt. 10th Street will take you past the Kaiser Convention Center on your left and Laney College on your right. Take the first possible left hand turn after you pass the Convention Center onto 2nd Avenue. Go three blocks and turn left on E. 14th/International Blvd., which will dead end at First Avenue. Turn left on First Avenue and immediately make a right into the parking lot.

From I-80 E:
Take the University Avenue Exit and proceed East to 7th
Street. Turn
Right on 7th Street. The Upper School Campus is in the middle of the first block on the right. (Look for the tiles in front of the hedge.)
From North Berkeley/Oakland:
Proceed down University towards the bay. Turn Left on
7th Street. The Upper School Campus is in the middle of the first block on the right. (Look for the tiles in front of the hedge.)
Please Note:
If you find yourself at the Lower School Campus
(2027 7th Street) at the corner of 7th Street and Addison Street, simply cross the street and walk North on 7th Street towards University Avenue. The Upper School Campus is in the middle of the block on the left. (Look for the tiles in front of the hedge.)

From the Oakland/Berkeley area:
Proceed east on I-580
to the junction with I-680 in Pleasanton. Take
I-680 S Exit and then take the Calaveras Road/Highway
84 Exit (Exit 21a) just south of Pleasanton. Turn
left onto Calaveras Road, proceed approximately 4 miles
to Geary Road, which leads directly into the park, and
turn Left. Continue on Geary almost 2 miles to
the park entrance kiosk. After the parking kiosk,
the road splits and the left split goes to the Visitor’s
Center. Follow the road to the right (away from
the Visitor’s Center). There are several
parking areas. Look for the Sarah’s Science
brown van. We will meet at picnic tables near the
stream.

Take the Harrison St/Mac Arthur Blvd. Exit. Merge onto Santa Clara Ave. Continue onto W. MacArthur Blvd. Turn right at Broadway. Take the 3rd right onto 41st St. Archway School is on your left at the corner of 41st St. and Gilbert St.
From I-580 East/80 East:
Take exit 20 Samuel Merritt College/Broadway Auto Row/Webster St. Keep right at the fork to continue toward Webster St. Turn right at Webster St. Take the 1st right onto W. MacArthur Blvd. Take the 1st left onto Broadway. Take the 3rd right onto 41st St. Archway School is on your left at the corner of 41st St. and Gilbert St.
From HWY 13 North:
Take the Moraga Ave/Thornhill Dr exit. Slight left at Moraga Ave. Turn right at Pleasant Valley Ave. Turn left at Piedmont Ave. Take the 3rd right onto 41st St. Archway School is on your right at the corner of 41st St. and Gilbert St.
From HWY 13 South:
Exit onto Broadway Terrace. Turn left at Broadway. Turn left at 41st St. Archway School is on your left at the corner of 41st St. and Gilbert St.
From I-980/Hwy. 24 East:
Just past the I-580 interchange, exit Martin Luther King, Jr. Way/ 51st St. Stay to the right and follow the signs for 51st St. Turn right onto 51st St. Turn right onto Broadway. Turn left at 41st St. Archway School is on your left at the corner of 41st St. and Gilbert St.
From Hwy. 24 West:
Take the Broadway exit. Travel south on Broadway. Turn left at 41st St. Archway School is on your left at the corner of 41st St. and Gilbert St.
