Sarah Shaffer, voted 2006 “Best Science Teacher for Kids” by the East Bay Express, has offered science and nature programs for children, parents and teachers for 20 years. The co-author of Compost! A Teacher’s Guide to Activities and Resources in the East Bay, Sarah is the founder and CEO of Sarah’s Science. As a teacher, science consultant and naturalist, Sarah continues to develop and shape her unique approach to stimulating children’s curiosity and encouraging their appreciation for science and nature.
